An original 18th SS Volunteer Panzergrenadier Division Horst Wessel cufftitle. The insignia is constructed from woven black rayon, with the obverse side trimmed at both the top and bottom with machine-embroidered silver-grey tresses. It features a central inscription reading “HORST WESSEL” in Latin script of identical construction. The reverse side displays a classic “salt and pepper” pattern with sawtooth-style underlay to the tresses. The piece is unmarked with a few niks otherwise in good condition.
