An original 1914-1918 Austro Hungarian Commemorative Medal For Combatants, constructed in silvred bronze with suspension ring with period tri fold ribbon. The obverse of the medal features the Hungary coat of arms, with a set of crossed swords below signifying the medal is for combatants, encircled by oaks leaves. The reverse depicts a steel helmet in the centre with the inscription below 1914-1918 encircled by laurel leafs, surmounted by the incription “PRO DEO ET PATRIA” (FOR GOD AND COUNTRY). The medal has no damage or repairs in good condition.
